General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Thank you very much for your interest. We look forward to working with you. All services provided by Wedding Voice are subject to the following general terms and conditions:
1. Services
Wedding Voice undertakes to carry out the customer's order with due care. Wedding Voice shall endeavor to ensure that the event runs smoothly and without delay. When selecting artists, Wedding Voice attaches great importance to impeccable quality. The client is responsible for ensuring that the event runs smoothly.
2. Quotations and order confirmation
Wedding Voice will prepare a detailed quote based on the information provided by the customer. The initial quote is free of charge. For further detailed quotes that do not result in a contract, Wedding Voice is entitled to charge a fee based on the time and expenses incurred. A contract with Wedding Voice must be concluded in writing. Any services provided beyond the scope of the order confirmation will be invoiced by Wedding Voice separately.
3. Pricing and price binding
Wedding Voice offers its services at daily updated prices. Due to the uncertain economic situation and inflation, we cannot guarantee that prices will remain unchanged for a period of more than 12 months. This time frame may be extended or shortened individually in specific order confirmations.
4. Advance payment/invoices
Wedding Voice reserves the right to request a prepayment of 50% of the order amount. Invoices are payable within 10 days.
5. Cancellations
In the event of cancellation of an already booked appointment for an event, the following cancellation fees will be charged for the services to be provided if the artists cannot be resold at an equivalent price:
- 181–365 days before the event: 30% of the services promised
- 61–180 days before the event: 50% of the services promised
- 31 - 60 Tage vor dem Anlass: 75% der in Aussicht gestellten Leistungen
- 0–30 days before the event: 100% of the services promised
Any advance payment made will be deducted from the cancellation costs or refunded only if the item is resold at the same price.
6. Cancellations during a pandemic
If the event is banned by the authorities, the booking will be postponed without cancellation fees. The advance payment will be transferred to the new date. Unless the event is banned by the authorities, our general cancellation conditions apply.
7. Cancellation by the artist
The artist may cancel due to a medical emergency upon presentation of a doctor's note. In this case, Wedding Voice will endeavor to provide a suitable replacement.
If the artist cancels due to force majeure (e.g., natural disaster, war, pandemic), no compensation will be paid.
8. General
Wedding Voice provides comprehensive musical services to the customer for their event. Wedding Voice does not assume the role of event organizer in any way. The event organizer is always the customer or their client and is therefore responsible for the smooth running of the event. In particular, Wedding Voice cannot be held liable for any damages in connection with the organization of the event. The customer/event organizer is responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage for property damage and personal injury.
The pastor/officiant is responsible for the wedding ceremony. Wedding Voice will adapt completely and flexibly to the relevant requirements. A brief consultation on the day of the event is sufficient. You can contact the administration at any time in advance.
The choice of songs for an aperitif is entirely up to the musician. They select songs that are appropriate for the theme of the event.
9. Fees/Meals
Any fees incurred (e.g., travel permits, car transport, etc.) shall be borne by the client.
Meals for the artists shall be provided during the following services:
- Reception
- Evening
- Ceremony & Reception
- Clever A and Clever B
If this is not complied with, the artists will cater for themselves locally under the conditions available, which will be invoiced additionally. Corresponding receipts can be requested from both administrations.
10. On the day of the event
Artists must arrive at the venue at least 1 hour before the performance.
The client shall ensure that the power supply (min. 230V socket or cable connection) for the music system and access to the performance venues are available during the event and at least 1 hour before the event. If this is not possible due to a previous event, Wedding Voice must be informed in writing in good time.
The performance venues must be dry and protected from the weather (e.g., rain, hail, snowfall, direct sunlight, etc.). The client must also inform the contractor in writing in good time of any special or difficult conditions at the venue or regarding access.
If the client wishes Wedding Voice to use an instrument available at the venue (e.g., piano, grand piano) for the performances, the client shall ensure that the instrument is tuned and in working order.
11. Overnight stay DJ
The client must arrange accommodation for the DJ according to the following parameters:
- Return journey more than 100 km or longer than 1 hour travel time
- and/or end of the event after 2:00 a.m.
Accommodation will be provided at the event location if possible. Otherwise, it will be organized by Wedding Voice and will be in an average *** hotel. The costs for accommodation will be charged to the client with the final invoice.
12. Severability clause
Should one or more provisions of these general terms and conditions be or become invalid or void, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions and the contract as a whole. The invalid clause shall be replaced by a clause that comes closest to it in legal and economic terms.
